What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm launching Hero Dungeon in Early Access to invite the community to help shape its future.
The core systems are ready — fast-paced dungeon battles, card-driven character building, and endlessly replayable roguelite runs — but there's still so much room to grow.

Your feedback is essential. I want your ideas to help fine-tune balance, uncover exciting new card synergies, suggest fresh content, and evolve the game into something truly special.
Together, we can push the mechanics even further, make smarter design choices, and build a roguelite that surprises players with every run.

Let's create something amazing — one card, one fight, and one idea at a time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in early access for atleast a year. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release of Hero Dungeon will expand on the foundation built during Early Access.
While the core systems — dynamic dungeon battles, card-based character growth, and replayable roguelite runs — are already in place, the full version will include much more content and refinement.

Planned additions include:

More cards to create deeper, crazier synergies.

New dungeons with unique enemies, challenges, and modifiers.

Additional characters, each with distinct starting abilities and playstyles.

Guild systems for long-term progression between runs.

Multiplayer features, allowing players to battle or cooperate.

Balancing improvements based on player feedback.

Enhanced UI and polish for a smoother experience.

Throughout Early Access, player feedback will directly shape these updates — helping fine-tune balance, inspire new ideas, and push the mechanics even further.
The goal is a full release where every run feels surprising, strategic, and endlessly replayable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Hero Dungeon already offers a complete core experience.
At the start of Early Access, the game includes:

5 dungeons, each becoming progressively more challenging.

200+ unique cards to build powerful and unpredictable strategies.

5 playable characters, each with distinct traits and starting abilities.

Dynamic difficulty scaling — dungeons get tougher over time, requiring you to level up and strengthen your builds to conquer the highest tiers.

The core systems — card drafting, dungeon progression, character growth, and roguelite replayability — are fully implemented and functional.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of Hero Dungeon will increase when the game leaves Early Access.
As we add more content, features, and polish, the full release will reflect the expanded scope and value of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be at the heart of Hero Dungeon's development during Early Access.
Here’s how you can get involved:

Suggest Balance Changes – Help fine-tune cards, characters, and dungeon difficulty based on real gameplay experience.
