Wraith and Tide escaped the Class-A monster Jeb, but not without injury.  Wraith is recovering from his serious wounds in the hunting cabin of their monster team-member Gem.

Gem is pregnant and knows only other monsters will be able to reproduce with his children.  He starts to wonder if he's on the right side.
