Abyssal Echo is a stylized third-person adventure game. Players awaken in a world of absolute darkness, exploring their surroundings by emitting visualized sound waves. However, monsters in the environment are drawn to these sounds. Players must evade these creatures, collect a sufficient number of items, and ultimately escape from the extraction point.

Stylized Art

Abyssal Echo eschews realistic lighting, instead outlining objects within the dark space to present the environment, creating a uniquely eerie atmosphere. Different objects are distinguished by colored outlines, allowing players to quickly gather ample information from limited visual elements.

Clear Gameplay

The core objective is straightforward: gather enough items and extract. There is no metagame progression; simply replaying a few times will familiarize you with all item locations in the level. But beware—the environment holds more than just the player. Terrifying creatures lurk, ready to hear your footsteps and greet you with a "gentle embrace" around the next corner. Use your skills and wits to lure them away.
