Sometimes when the world leaves wounds, everyone wants to escape somewhere else. So what if you could shape your own digital dimension?

Welcome to Mirrors OS - a haunted realm on your desktop. It is filled with ghosts, skeletons, and other creatures of the night, who have no place in the real world and are searching for the meaning they never found in life.

Just like Rin - a troubled dropout girl in early twenties, finding her refuge here.
As is often the case with lost souls, she doesn't have an ambition to change the world or someone else's lives, but occasionally gets pulled into little adventures, whether she is ready for them or not.
Everything was following its own course, until one day  a corrupting glitch started to destroy the usual order of things, and a mysterious girl from her dreams reached out for help...

Rin's world is now yours to explore.

Your only tasks are simple:

⟢  Make friends and find out their stories by going through your own journey with multiple endings.

⟢  Solve puzzles and play minigames by breaking and dragging windows in the operating system.

⟢  Catch a cat hiding in folders, decorate your desktop with sunshine, get a pet fish.

⟢  Find out the secrets of this world before it's too late.

hello, rin! can you hear me?
    i'm so glad you're here again!
                                                   i was starting to think you'd forgotten our little digital city.
            but you came back. you always do.

  A hand-drawn 32-bit pixel OS becomes a platform for experiments and exploration.

Drag, click, type, scroll, play games, read and delete files, send messages - do everything you'd do in a regular OS. Discover new locations, get to know the enigmatic inhabitants of the city, and make choices that will have consequences as you travel through data and open windows on your desktop.

Everything seems clear until night falls, when dreams become too real and the desktop doesn't look so welcoming anymore.

                                                                 sometimes i feel like my reflection could suddenly come to life...

                                                                 ...massive, massive teeth...
                                                                 ...and eat you alive!!       

You won't explore this digital city alone. During your journey through Mirrors OS , as in any good adventure, you'll meet about a dozen characters who can become your friends:

⟢  An irrepressible little ghost Sparkles who will always be on your side and won't let you get bored.

⟢  Mark - the local library's keeper, specializing in philosophy. If you're seeking the most profoundly boring book in existence or want to share your darkest thoughts, he's the one to ask.

⟢  Skeletrock - full-time tough guy made of bones, guitars, motorcycles, shoegaze, and a fragile heart inside, as often happens with musicians.

⟢  And 10+ other characters, each with their own story to tell.

Choose a soul- that could become your -mate. Give presents, make meaningful choices, dive into the depths of secrets and personal experiences. After all, this world is all about connection...

Sometimes the best way to really get closer is to share a game. Fortunately, each of the characters here has their own game ready.

Solve puzzles by dragging and dropping interface elements, play classic arcade games by smashing windows and discover mini-games in the most unexpected places. Today it's tower defense against system bugs, tomorrow it may be a silent fishing, who knows where this path lead.
