AMENTIA is a hand-drawn roguelite action rpg with deckbuilding mechanics. You have been chosen to fight the dark magic of the mages responsable for the chaos. Will you be able to survive the waves of assaults from strange creatures to bring back peace in this world… and in your mind?

Once, all living beings, animals and plants, were connected to the magic that permeated the world. But the fragile balance between order and chaos shattered corrupting minds and tainting magic with madness.

In this devastated world, a few individuals still resist madness and fight against chaos. Using ancient knowledge, construct your deck of magic cards to survive hordes of enemies and try to defeat bringers of chaos.

To fulfill your mission you will have to face hordes of ennemies dramatically increasing in number from waves to waves. Various objectives will present themself along the way allowing you to increase your skills and gain power before confronting the mages.

Collect magical cards and build a powerful deck against your ennemies.

Beware : the magic is tainted with darkness, you will have to use it wisely or you’ll learn it the hard way!

Each card will give you a unique magic power with a specific number of use and the cost to pay.

Each run will give you the opportunity to improve your skills and gain special cards by taking part in small missions and quests. You may have to complete a specific objectif or overcome unexpected events. Be attentive to whom you encounter. 

You will be able to upgrade your abilities with a meta-progression system allowing you to customize your playstyle. Personalize the experience for each character, it might improve your chances of survival.

Starting with the alchemist, you will be able to unlock different characters trapped like you in this world of madness. They all have their own playstyle and unique cards! 

Levels of difficulties will be unlock after completing successfully your mission.

You have the possibility to choose when you play your cards in order to unleash powerful combos or to have a more casual experience by using the « automatic mode ».
