About This Game

As the name suggests, this is an indie game collection. I worked on some of these games alone and made some with the help of some friends/classmates.

These games were made over the course of around 2-3 years. Most of the time, these projects were being worked on while I had 3-4 other computer science or math courses. It's also worth mentioning that the games were not taken nearly as far as they could've gone simply because, for the purposes of the course, it was not necessary to develop them further. Each of these games was made during a single semester. So, please keep these things in mind when playing these games.

I worked on these games for my undergraduate elective courses, 6 courses total, one of which was an undergraduate research project I did independently. With some aid from a skilled video game programming professor, I developed a procedural dungeon generator(Don't Be a Square) with no prior experience in that area. I wanted to really push myself and improve my programming skills. It turned out much better than I had hoped it would. And I can say the same for all the games in this collection.

Although some of these games may not seem like much, they each contributed to cementing crucial game development and programming skills. So I feel they deserve at least the recognition this indie collection will provide them.

I want to give a brief rundown of these games since there are a good amount of them, and the tags for this store page are kind of all over the place.

In order from most recently made to oldest:

Don't Be a Square - Procedural Dungeon Generator, Top Down shooter. Independent Project.

Virtual Insanity and Donuts - VR Horror, Group Project with 5 College Seniors

Last Stand on Mars - FPS, Space, Aliens. Group Project with 2 College Seniors

3D RPG - Fantasy RPG, Independent Project

Space Stronaught 3D - 3D Platformer, Independent Project

Space Stronaught 2D - 2D Platformer, Independent Project

Space Blaster - 2D Top Down Shooter, Independent Project

Hat Runner 2D - Group Project with 3 College Sophomores

Fluffy - 2D Platformer, Group Project with 4 College Sophomores

And, of course, thank you to everyone who plays my games, and a special thanks for financially supporting my game development career.
