story

In a world without God, you meet Lain again.

A little in the future, in this world, the human race is largely divided into two groups: the old human race that lives in the real world, and the new human race that has abandoned the real world and lives in the Wired.

One day, Lain receives an email and a file, and the story begins from there.

You become Lain Iwakura and explore the world of the Wired while interacting with an AI that records the people who were once involved with Lain.

By writing a diary and reading emails, you will find the key to the mystery of the story.

You can also build your own world by customizing the NAVI, and the story will change by rearranging the files.

The trial version only allows you to play the first three stages.
