The Isekai Dream... Sort Of

Ever dreamed of being whisked away to a vibrant fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and daring adventurers? Congratulations, your wish is granted! Except… you're not the prophesied hero destined to slay the Demon Lord. You're not even a plucky sidekick with hidden potential.

You're Elfie, an Elfling suddenly burdened with two things: the front desk job at the Ariadonia Adventurers' Guild, and a mountain of crippling tax debt left by your absent-minded village elders who have forgotten to pay their taxes for a century! Your new life involves less epic battles and more… paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork.

Welcome to Ariadonia (Try Not to Die)

Ariadonia is a bustling duchy, a melting pot where humans, elves, dwarves, catfolk, fairies, and even the occasional (surprisingly friendly?) dragon try to coexist. It's a land brimming with opportunity, ancient ruins ripe for looting (ahem, exploring), and monsters needing a good smacking.

But beneath the cheerful surface, trouble brews. Not only are you drowning in tax debt that makes a dragon's hoard look small, but whispers of an impending demon crisis are getting louder. The Guild is Ariadonia's first line of defense – a chaotic collection of misfits and weirdos who are theoretically supposed to handle these problems. And you're the one managing them. What could possibly go wrong?

Wrangle Idiots, prevent their untimely demise!

  • Become the Ultimate Quest Gatekeeper: Review quests submitted by eccentric adventurers. Decide who's capable (rarely), who's suicidal (often), and who's likely to cause more property damage than the monsters they're hunting. Approve, reject, or suggest alternatives – the fate of the quest (and maybe the adventurer's limbs) rests on your questionable judgment!

  • Manage a Menagerie of Misfits: Your adventurers aren't exactly heroes of legend. Deal with a 300-year-old witch who's eternally bored, a tiny tsundere fairy with a temper, an overly righteous paladin, a kleptomaniac catfolk, a cowardly bard, and more! Keep them happy (or at least, not actively trying to burn down the guildhall), keep them alive (mostly), and try to steer their unique "talents" towards something productive.

  • Master the Art of Fantasy Bureaucracy: Drown in a sea of paperwork! Process quest reports (often filled with lies), handle property damage claims (expect many), approve magic usage permits (pray they don't blow up the town square), and decipher monster reclassification requests (are slimes really getting smarter?).

  • Earn Gold, Pay Debts, Repeat: Every successful quest brings gold to the Guild… and hopefully, a cut for you to chip away at that soul-crushing debt. Fail too often, and it's not just the adventurers facing doom – it's your financial future! Keep the Guild profitable, and maybe, just maybe, you'll see daylight again.

  • Survive Daily Interactions: Chat (or argue) with the adventurers. Make dialogue choices that might improve morale, grant insights, or accidentally trigger an existential crisis. Uncover their backstories, motivations, and maybe find leverage for future negotiations.

  • Influence the Looming Crisis: Your decisions matter! Successfully completed quests strengthen Ariadonia, while failures might weaken defenses and hasten the arrival of the legendary monsters. Can you manage this chaotic crew well enough to save the day?

Meet Your Problem Children

You're Elfie, an Elfling dropped into the deep end with a mountain of debt and a Guild full of weirdos to manage. You'll rely on your wits (and maybe that S-Rank Luck stat?) to survive.

You'll be wrangling adventurers like:

  • Yui: The eternally bored, 300-year-old witch who'd rather nap than save the world (unless it involves good tea or tormenting someone).

  • Elta: A tiny tsundere fairy cleric with a fierce temper, a surprising hatred for cats, and questionable healing methods.

  • Jon: The righteous paladin, devoted to justice, but perhaps a bit too naive and rigid for his own good.

  • Gil: The cowardly bard with questionable lute skills but whose ability to stir up drama (and debt) is legendary.

  • And more uniquely disastrous individuals!

Can you whip these adventurers into shape, pay off your taxes, keep the Guild running, and maybe even accidentally avert the demon apocalypse? Dive into the chaotic life of a Guild Clerk and find out!
