Why Early Access?

“We are a small indie team, working on our first video game, and would love to get as much input as possible from players, to help us improve Exilus Viper - along its journey to full release.

“Exilus Viper will likely be in Early Access for at least 12 months, as we incorporate
feedback generated through Early Access, finalize assets, and other features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“It is important not to over promise and under deliver, but, features that we absolutely need to add, before considering Exilus Viper as the "full version", include :

Practice Modes, Stage Summaries, and the more Challenging and streamlined -
Exilus Pro Mode - for EV enthusiasts.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All intended base gameplay mechanics, 3 weapon frame choices, all 11 planned stages (8 standard and 3 alternate), a Tutorial stage, and fully voiced story elements throughout.

Most of the Early Access progress will be focused on addressing player feedback, balance, polish, and working towards both the Practice modes, and the more challenging Exilus Pro game mode. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Although there won't be a massive price hike, we would like to incentivize and
reward those of you who purchase our game during Early Access. We plan to increase
the price in 2 stages - a small increment approximately every 6 months, until the full release in 2026.”

About This Game

Arcade Shoot'em Up Combat

Choose from 1 of 3 different weapons frames :

Exilus Viper is our first game, and therefore it will take plenty of additional work and updates before we will consider it ready for full release.

Obviously we will greatly benefit by receiving feedback from our players, as we do our best to balance and refine the base game.

Beyond Early Access
