Botnet of Ares is an incremental hacking roguelite set in a cyberpunk world where everything is connected. Unlock upgrades, expand your botnet, exploit millions of devices, optimize your network & decide the future of humanity.

Botnet of Ares puts you in the commander's seat of an ever growing network of infected computers. The botnet grows in order to train Ares, a self-improving AI agent capable of exploiting devices en masse.

Active Incremental Gameplay

Your botnet is composed of Machines which vary in processing power and number of threads. Assign Machines to Tasks carefully by picking the best devices in your botnet for each particular task. Optimize resource allocation, and make sure to keep your botnet busy.

Exploit Vulnerable Devices

Grow your botnet by discovering vulnerable machines and using your resources in order to exploit them. Choose the right machines to exploit and gain more and more computing power.

Research Powerful Upgrades

Progress through each run by unlocking powerful upgrades, which either boost Ares itself, or provide global bonuses to your entire botnet.

Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics

Beware! ICE will attempt to bring an end to your expansion. Act quickly, reconfigure your botnet and shatter the ICE before it is too late.

Decide the Future of Humanity

Your choices throughout the game have an impact on how the story unfolds. Choose your own path through varied events and quests to unlock different endings across multiple runs.
