What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are very excited to show Unsent to the world, and we’re proud of what we have made.
But like all great things, if time was unlimited, we'd build more.

Early Access gives players the opportunity to see the extent of what we’ve worked on, as we further polish the platforming and narrative systems we’ve made, and we continue work on the new areas of the game.

We are passionate about this project and we’d like to eventually realize the full vision of our game for everyone to enjoy.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Unsent will be in early access until we complete the final act and narrative ending of the game. We anticipate this will take at least 8 months, and potentially up to 18 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to add one more level as well as a pretty epic boss fight.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Unsent currently offers a fully functional hub world as well as two unique levels in the human world. Each level consists of unique characters and collectibles along with new mechanics that you can use to traverse the environments.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase to reflect the content added during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on reading and considering all the feedback received through Steam and Discord. Please feel free to reach out and let us know how you feel about what is already in the game. We will address major bugs and issues as they arise during Early Access.

We're on a mission to fix the feast or famine nature of the indie game studio. Part of that mission, at least according to our lovingly ambitious CEO, is to prove that an indie studio can create a 2nd game, in just 6 months.

We, as a studio, have a hard choice to make, and hope that you, the player, help make it harder. If this game is incredibly well received, we'd have no choice to expand even beyond the one more level and fight we want to add. Our plan is to come back and finish Unsent, regardless of its reception, in 6 months when our 2nd game is done. But hey, if it turns out we made a diamond in the rough, we'd be dumb not to give the people what they want.

Unsent is a wacky 3D platformer set in a labyrinthine 1970s-inspired post office.

Freshly unemployed, Valentine takes a new job as a postman at the Unsentiment Department, where he must jump, dash, and fight his way through a labyrinth of lost letters — messages that were never meant to be unsent.

The Unsentiment Department

The Unsentiment Department is the bureaucracy in the Regulatory Realm, the dimension where forgotten messages, misplaced mail, and emotional clutter all end up. It is extremely disorganized, and sometimes General Postmaster, the domineering and stubborn head of the Unsentiment Department, almost seems to enjoy the inefficiency of the system.

Send the Unsent

Your mission: deliver the undeliverable.

Travel from dilapidated mansions to bleak suburban streets, connecting people who never got their closure. Each route hides collectibles, secret rooms, and strange characters who’ll make you laugh, cry, and question the meaning of postage.
