「The game needs about 2 more years of development. This will be primarily divided into three branches of work: the additional playing modes for open-world and multiplayer, creating content-creation tools, and writing the remaining campaigns to play as Dutch, Spanish and French pirates.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「A lot can change once player feedback starts being incorporated, but the general goal is to make what is currently in place "fuller" and enrich it with animation and voice-overs and more character art, improve the historical accuracy. Endless play-mode, multiplayer, land excursions, treasure hunts, attacking settlements, establishing and razing and upgrading settlements, character inventories and items. 」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「Three complete campaigns for British privateers set in the "Golden Age of Piracy", the 17th century.

Each of these campaigns take place at very different times during British penetration into the West Indies, with George Somers establishing the port of Bermuda in 1610, James Riskinner's adventures in the 1630s and Joseph Bannister's betrayal in the 1680s.

As these historical figures you will lead your ship and then ships to battle against merchants, Spanish naval vessels and privateers as you plot unique missions:

• George Somer's journey to Jamestown after a hurricane destroyed his ship
  
• James Riskinner hunting Spanish ships from Providence in the 1640s amassing a fortune to return to England
  
• Joseph Bannister who absconded with a ship in 1684 and sailed under French protection attacking British ships and navy

「As the Dutch, French and Spanish campaigns are added, and the additional playing modes, the price will increase to reflect the growing size of the game.」
