The Setting: After-Earth

Gammadark takes place in
After-Earth
, a post-apocalyptic world
forged by science, shattered by war, and reshaped by forces beyond comprehension
. A century ago, humanity's technological advancements reached their peak--but an
extraterrestrial invasion
forced humankind to weaponize
dark matter, wormhole technology, and dimensional rifts
in a desperate bid for survival. The result was
The Darclysm
, an apocalyptic catastrophe that
destroyed civilization, mutated all life, and left the planet a fractured wasteland
.


Now, After-Earth is a
chaotic and lawless realm
, where remnants of old-world technology mix with
mutated horrors, sentient machines, and power-hungry factions
. Survivors struggle to endure in a world where
the past is both a treasure trove and a curse

Game System: Shadowdark Adaptation

Gammadark runs on the
Shadowdark RPG system
, a streamlined old-school-inspired ruleset designed for
quick play, high-stakes decision-making, and intuitive mechanics
. The system keeps the game focused on

rather than complex mechanics.
