Introduce intelligent enemies with short goblins and bone mask-wearing creatures, and make sure that your players understand that new tactics are necessary when a group of goblins calls in a weighty troll to help. Each enemy comes in 4 color variations, so that it’s easy to color-code elemental weaknesses or give your players clues that the noxious green demon wields poison-based attacks and the buff red-winged centaur can fling fireballs at will. Every image also comes in two sizes so that it’s easy to use it in Ace, MV/MZ, or your favorite engine.
