This is existential math with a deck of cards. Monday to Friday, you're playing cards against Death itself. Higher card wins, but every choice costs something. Keep four stats above zero while Death keeps dealing. Some weeks are brutal. Some hands are perfect. Most are just Tuesday.

About This Game

You're stuck in a game with Death. Compare cards. Make trade-offs. Survive the week. In Discarding Death, every day is a gamble. Pick your battles, time your losses, and maybe—just maybe—make it through another Tuesday.

Death spared you, but it’s not done with you yet. In Discarding Death, an indie card game, you play a standard card deck against Death itself to keep your Health, Mental, Soul, and Funds above zero. Each round, draw five cards, compare with Death’s play, and choose from three options shown as clean stat and card icons. Your choices shift your stats, balancing survival with strategy in a retro minimalist world.

Delay tough plays with the Procrastination Window, but timers mean penalties if you wait too long. Seasons change how suits like Hearts or Clubs score, keeping your tactics fresh. Jokers trigger special events with bold rewards or risks, adding depth to each day’s battles. With minimalist pixel visuals and lofi beats, this single-player card game blends casual play with strategic management.
