Why Early Access?

“Suum language was designed as a general-purpose programming language, but it lacks library support and features. It can currently run written programs and provide basic input and output functions for simple game development. The goal is to complete it into a general-purpose programming language that can develop programs in various fields.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“There are many functions to be developed, so it will take about 1 to 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I am planning to provide several features such as debug, copy and paste, and supports libraries such as file input/output and thread, socket, WinAPI, Direct X.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It has a real-time error detection function that automatically detects compilation errors, and if there are no errors, the code can be executed. When the code is executed, it outputs a screen, receives inputs such as keyboard or mouse, and uses simple rendering syntax to write text or display pictures. You can adjust the shape of the picture with a matrix. It is implemented to prevent runtime errors as much as possible by providing functions such as a garbage collector. Also you can undo action.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“With the addition of features, the price will increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will communicate with users through the Steam Community or YouTube and upload programs created by users to the workshop.”
