“We have invested a significant amount of time and passion as a team into this project; however, we know that we can do much more. Given our status as first time publishers, we want to see what the interest in our title looks like as we progress, and would prefer not to give the wrong impression that what we have delivered thus far is complete. We also believe that user feedback is invaluable and is the key to making this game as fun as it can be.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“We estimate that the game will be in an early access state for one year. Our targeted goals for iterative deployment of improvements and features are planned out with this timeline in mind. More specifically, we are looking to release smaller updates weekly, while working towards bigger updates monthly.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“We currently have a total of 10 enemies designed and modeled, only two have been implemented. The same can be said for our 15 items, two bosses, and future designs for in-game events. While the core game is stable and functional, we are only about 20% complete in terms of what we have planned for the game.”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“In Defest you can play with up to 6 players. You can buy useful items that will aid you in exterminating Interdimensional bugs. Once items are obtained, players enter an infested house with the goal finding and extracting an anomalous object, and surviving long enough to do so. Players are rewarded based on match performance, the ability to afford better gear, and progressively harder matches for each mission they play.”

앞서 해보기 기간 전후로 게임 가격이 달라지나요?

“We plan to increase the game's price after full release. There will be no addition of microtransactions or other purchases beyond the game's cost. All future content will be free.

개발 과정에서 어떻게 커뮤니티와 소통할 계획인가요?

“We plan to use the feedback from the community through discord to guide updates and changes made to the game. Smaller events and updates will happen every 1-2 weeks, larger ones every other month. We will post patch notes and future plans on steam as well as our public discord. We want the community to share in game nights, post funny game content, and tell us about their experiences playing our game. We want to bring everyone with us on the journey to make Defest.”
