Why Early Access?

“I think Early Access will work because of all the great feedback I have already received from people who played the demo. as I am doing this solo I think it will help make the game better overall by the time 1.0 is released. while I do a LOT of play testing, I am just one person and getting more player feedback about the branching path options, areas or enemies that have too much jank, availability of ammo/health pick-ups etc. should be really helpful to ensure a smooth game progression from start to end ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“the game is broken into chapters, so I hope to add new chapters pretty regularly until the full game is playable, then fine tune for a bit after that. with the goal of 1.0 version going live sometime between Oct25 and Jan26”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full game will have more chapters/items/weapons/power-ups/costumes which will slowly be added in via updates (I have already built them, but they will actually become accessible to players in game with the new chapters)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“this version goes beyond the first chapter featured in the demo, and more chapters will come online as I complete them/get feedback from players ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“the price will stay the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“the goal of early access is for players who are enjoying VCBB to play and give feedback early to help shape the final game :) I check the Steam community all the time and read everyones feedback. I have already made lots of changes in the demo/full game based on the amazing feedback from the community.”
