Under the watchful eye of an enigmatic Instructor, you must scrutinize alchemical recipes, verify ingredient weights, and ensure that every rule of alchemy is followed with exactness. If all is in order you may allow the alchemist Behind The Curtain to succeed. If they fail, you condemn them to the same fate you must now endure.

Purgatory is unforgiving. Make too many mistakes or squander your precious time, and the flames of judgment will consume you.
