What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to do Early Access to receive feedback from more external users. This feedback will be helpful to get the game to its most polished and fully realized state. Additionally, we think that community feedback can help us find things that we did not consider before in the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game will be in access for two to three weeks.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have the full version both more polished and bug free. Additionally we plan for the VFX and the UI in the full version of the game to be better. There is also the possibility that there will be a few more levels in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version contains a full closed loop of the game with functioning menus, sounds, and gameplay. The gameplay has players moving through six levels, progressing through an overworld map. In each level, the player enters a stage where they fight an enemy on a grid and dance around while trying to kill this enemy. It also contains the majority of the content that is intended to be in the full version of the game. Currently, this version of the game is being tested and refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This game is intended to be free for both Early Access and at full price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community feedback will be actively interacted with by the development team. We are intending to work with the community to bring our game to its full potential. We are also planning on responding to any feedback that the community gives to our team. The team is also planning to post a link to a form that the community can fill out to report bugs and specific feedback.”

About This Game

Story Beats:

Echo always wondered why they felt different; why they always noticed a rhythmic beat that everyone else could not hear. One day, they tried to uncover the truth behind the missing music. Only then did they discover how the city's elite were hoarding the music to themselves in order to keep the masses in an aphonic state of obedience. Will you be able to help Echo in their quest to bring Rock to the people?
