'The Hilltop Funeral started as a one-month game jam project and has evolved into something that we are truly excited to share with you! 'Our current goal is to transition to a full release in a year, but the timeline will be influenced by your feedback and suggestions. Along the journey, we wish to bring you and your friends good times filled with joy and laughter :)'

'The full version of The Hilltop Funeral is planned to feature more levels, obstacles, powerups, narrative elements, and most importantly, an online co-op mode. Additionally, we plan to ensure full compatibility with Steam Deck. The core gameplay is already in place, and the rest of the development will focus on additional content, small complementary systems, and fine tuning based on feedback from the community.'

'The Early Access version of The Hilltop Funeral has 4 levels, a single-player mode and a two-player local co-op mode, and full controller support. There are also leaderboards for players to challenge each other for the best completion times in each level.'

A Co-op & Left Brain-Right Brain Battle Adventure of a Funeral Journey:

You and your friend will take on the task of a hilarious coffin-carrying duo, overcoming traps and challenges amidst both Chemistry and bickering on an adventure-filled funeral road full of “surprises.” Your goal is to complete one laugh-out-loud funeral after another and finally deliver the “client” smoothly to the end.

Deceptively simple controls require ultimate coordination—will you glide like you’re doing the moonwalk or eat dirt face-first? It all depends on your choices! Keeping the body from falling out is your one and only mission!!

The game supports both local and online co-op play!

Hilarious Physics System

Experience physics so wild that not even Newton’s coffin lid can hold them down! Every tug, every stumble can trigger a disaster scene straight out of a comedy clip.

Heads up: the corpse will also try to “escape” the coffin in all kinds of ridiculous ways!
