“We’re launching in Early Access because we want player feedback to help shape the game. Wild Roots: Chef Vs Critters is a mix of fast-paced cooking action and chaotic critter defense, and Early Access gives us the chance to fine-tune mechanics, balance the challenge, and expand on what makes the game fun. The best way to make it great is by letting players jump in early and help us refine the experience.”

“We hope to include more recipes, more critters, new kitchen layouts, and additional game modes. “Yes. The price of Wild Roots: Chef Vs Critters will increase once the full version (1.0) is released. Early Access players will get in at a lower price as a thank-you for supporting development and helping shape the game. As we add more content, features, and polish, the price will reflect the expanded experience.”

Harvest fresh ingredients, cook delicious meals, sell them for profit, and expand your farm—all while using your plants and animals to defend your land with unique power-ups!

Build and Expand Your Ultimate Farm

Start with a small, overgrown plot of land and turn it into a flourishing farm! Chop down towering trees, break apart massive stones, and clear space for new crop plots and animal pens. As your farm grows, you’ll unlock new locations and upgrades, allowing you to plant rare crops and raise more animals to boost production.

But it’s not just about farming—your crops and livestock hold hidden powers that will help you protect your land!

                                      

Grow Crops with Special Abilities

In Wild Roots, every plant you grow isn’t just for harvesting—it also has unique defensive abilities! Some plants release stunning pollen to slow down invading critters, while others fire off seeds like tiny cannons to chase them away. Strategically place your crops to maximize your defenses and keep your farm safe!

 Examples of Power-Up Crops:

  • Corn Cannons – Shoots kernels at critters to knock them back!

  • Spicy Peppers – Releases a fiery blast to scare off thieves!

  • Sticky Vines – Slows down critters in their tracks!
