One of the most efficient airports in the world, Richmond International Airport (RIC) not far from Washington DC, located around 7 miles to the southeast of the state capital. 

Serves 21 destinations throughout the United States via nine major carriers to the tune of almost 3.5 million annual passengers and major cargo activities.
