Bound together in the depths of Purgatory, two fallen warlords must put their feud on hold to face the monstrous forms of their sins. Survive brutal challenges as one and earn your shot at redemption - or be damned together.

The chain isn’t just a punishment. For skilled warriors? It can be the most dependable tool. For you? You can always "accidentally" pull your friend right into an enemy's attack.

Use it to interact with both the world and each other in creative and tactical ways:

Trip bosses mid-attack.

Entrap enemies in a tight coil.

Clothesline entire mobs by pulling the chain tight and charging in unison.

Thrust your hips and Yank your partner to safety... or doom (usually doom).

Soul Chained makes limited use of AI tools to improve coding and asset development pipelines. The game itself does not run any generative AI. Some AI-generated images have been used in a WIP draft of the opening cutscene/lore explanation and for minor character voiceovers. These are planned to be replaced before the full release, but are currently present in the Demo.
