Miksi Early Access?

Zomboard is a deep survival strategy game, and Early Access allows us to refine and expand it with community feedback. The core mechanics—base-building, crafting, combat, and survival—are already in place, but we want to improve balance, add more content, and introduce new features with player input.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We expect 3 to 6 months in Early Access, depending on player feedback and the development roadmap. We want to ensure the game reaches its full potential before the full release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Ending goals, ending solutions (maybe develop a new vaccine or nuke the entire world from orbit).
More Weapons, Items & Crafting – Adding new survivor gear, defenses, and tools.
More Zombie Types.
Better AI & Balancing – Improving horde behavior, survivor management, and difficulty scaling.
New Magic Abilities & Research Upgrades – Enhancing late-game strategies.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version is fully playable and enjoyable, with all core mechanics working:
- Colony management (eat, sleep, jobs, combat).
- Base-building & crafting (dozens of items, weapons, and turrets).
- Endless and growing zombie hordes.
- Research system.
- Survivor stats (affecting work efficiency and combat).

The current version has:

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes. The price will increase when the game leaves Early Access.
Early Access players will get the game at a discounted price as a reward for supporting development early.
