«Red Filament is currently in its alpha stage. Expect the game to change substantially in the coming months as early feedback is collected and more content is added. A lot can change! Stay tuned!»

«We currently estimate that Early Access will last until Spring 2027. Red Filament is still under heavy construction, however, and a lot can change (including this estimated date!).»

«Our Early Access builds are intended to validate design, art, and story decisions without showing the entire game. We plan to gather feedback, digest it, and use it to help guide the development of more levels, puzzles, and story beats.»

«Red Filament currently only has about a third of its content complete.
- One level with several different sub-areas to explore (necessary and optional).
- A complete interact/grab system (for pressing buttons, picking things up, etc.).
- A complete HUD (including info, warnings, reports, goal tracking, and reminders).
- Complete sound and music. Full voice narration is still in progress.
- First-pass implementation of the Vitals and Inventory systems.
- A dozen lore items to find, each containing story info.»

Το παιχνίδι θα έχει διαφορετική τιμή πριν και μετά την Πρόωρη πρόσβαση;

«Early builds of Red Filament will be free for playtesters but only accessible by Steam Keys given by Cloak & Quill Games (the developer). Once the game enters its Open Beta stage, those keys will be revoked and anyone will be able to purchase the Early Access version of the game and play. We expect the price of the game to increase as we add more content, features, and polish.»

  • First Playable: Basic gameplay, vibes, and visuals. Major pivots possible!    <-- You are here!

  • Vertical Slice: All major game systems implemented, but very short on content.

  • Closed Alpha: Supporting systems implemented. Art direction finalized. More content.

  • Closed Beta: Story finalized. Systems polish. More content.

  • Open Beta: Final polish & bugfixing.

  • Release: Everyone gets to play!
