"Creature Containment is a solo-dev project that is wholly self-funded. Releasing the game early will allow me to focus on the game full-time and ensure that the game becomes a reality.

EA is also going to be key to correctly balancing the game. Creature Containment is built around a single difficulty level that's meant to be challenging but fair. Gathering a wide range of player feedback will help to ensure that this aspect of the game is well-polished."

"~1-2 years. All of the underlying systems and menus are already completed. Most of the work left for the game is levels and their appropriate content. I'm aiming to get the rest of the game completed in a year, but adding some alternative modes might take some extra time."

"The plan for the full game is for it to have a fully completed 3 Act campaign, including epilogue, along with additional side modes. The current aim for the side modes is to have extra Challenge and Training missions added throughout the Early Access period, and then for New Game+ to be added on release out of EA."

In the 500 years since the world experienced a catastrophic apocalypse, magic has begun to seep into the world. Although devastated by the event, humanity has begun harnessing this power, and is currently experiencing a golden age of human expansion.

As a newly graduated United City States Militia Commander, you have been tasked with heading to a new posting along the western frontier. A fast-spreading goblin infestation has taken over an old-world underground mega-facility, and you've been tasked to clear it out.

ARKCORP, working in conjunction with the UCS Militia, has provided the operation with a cutting edge M-TEK computer, capable of administering an entire base from one machine. With this tech, the user can:

  • Read Emails

  • Construct Shops

  • Purchase and Sell Equipment

  • Hire and Assign Operators

  • Equip Operators and deploy them into the field

Once deployed into the field, take direct control of your operator and explore the underground depths of「NA-LRC/A-07」an old world fortress constructed before the apocalypse . Fight hordes of creatures, dodge projectiles, and make your way towards the source of the goblin infestation in the depths below.

WARNING: Losing an operator in the field will result in them permanently dying along with total equipment loss. Careful preparation and tactical gameplay will ensure success in the field.

To combat this issue, a one-way teleportation system has been setup to allow instant extraction of operators. While this failsafe enables escape, operator safety remains dependent on proper resource management in the field.
