“Night Kin is a long-term passion project that will continue to evolve until it delivers a feature-complete, polished, and well-rounded experience. The game will receive regular updates with new content, features, and ongoing bug fixes and optimizations to ensure quality and value throughout Early Access. Given the project's scope, team size, and development methodology, it's difficult to pinpoint an exact Early Access duration. A rough estimate is around 2-3 years, but the timeline depends on external factors and community feedback. The ultimate goal is to refine the game until it meets the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.”

“While it’s difficult to predict exactly what Night Kin will look like at its 1.0 release, we plan for it to evolve into a hyper-immersive, feature-rich experience centered around deep survival mechanics, exceptional gunplay, and an engaging storyline told through quests and dynamic interactions with various factions. We aim to offer a diverse selection of handcrafted maps, high-quality weapons and gear, strategic hideout locations, and a variety of secondary activities.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Night Kin’s Early Access will provide a fully playable preview of the core game loop, featuring at least two handcrafted maps, a selection of weapons, quests, and contracts, as well as key gameplay elements like combat engagements, hideout locations, and most importantly, persistence. Players will experience a fully playable, immersive version of the game, though some features and a significant amount of content will still be in development. By supporting the game during Early Access, players will gain immediate value and continue to benefit from regular updates, new features, and ongoing improvements leading up to the 1.0 release.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes. The Early Access version will be priced lower than the final release. While the exact pricing is yet to be determined, the difference won’t be drastic. Night Kin is meant to be an affordable, honest single-player experience, and that philosophy will remain unchanged.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Even before the game’s official reveal, efforts were made to build a comprehensive ecosystem where players can provide valuable feedback throughout development. Our official Discord server was designed as a streamlined hub for discussions and suggestions, alongside our X account and the game’s Steam community tab. All feedback is welcomed and considered, and we will continue improving and expanding these tools to expand community involvement.”
