Varför Early Access?

“The prototype for this game was developed for the Global Game Jam 2025. Since we got a lot of positive feedback we decided to round it out into a small game worthy to be on Steam which will be the first version we release here.

After the initial release we will continue to work on more features and a better Steam integration and are looking forward to feedback from the community with ideas and what they like and don't like.

The goal is to create a small fun couch co-op game reimagining old classics like NES World Cup.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We release the game to Early Access in a shape we feel good about. It will be a fun small couch co-op game for some quality time with your friends.

We do plan some more quality of life changes after that. In addition to our own ideas we are looking forward to community feedback with ideas and input what works and what does not which we will directly integrate into the coming updates.

Our target is to finish the our vision for the full game by the end of 2025.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“For the finished version will plan on having typical quality of life features like customization, settings, more possible input devices and support for more languages.

Anything beyond that directly relates to the feedback and interest we see in the project so let us know if you like the game and what you would like to see in it.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The core gameplay loop can be played with four controllers and works as intended. We are currently working on expanding on that and adding quality of life features and a more entertaining presentation.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We are currently not planning on changing the price but if the scope of the projects grows more than we expect we reserve us to adjust the price a little bit to reflect that.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“This is very much directly dependent on the community. We were pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback we got for the game so far which is the main reason we are releasing it on Steam. Our motivation to work on this directly correlates to people playing it.”

BURST is a small one to four player local sports game that takes a very different spin on bubble football. Try your luck against an overwhelming number of opponents and lay waste to the field in the process. 

Inspired by hallmarks of the genre like NES World Cup this game is also easy to pick up ideally enjoyed with friends.

  • 1 - 4 player local co-op with gamepads

  • Remote Play Together supported

  • adaptive difficulty

  • 2D retro pixel graphics

  • tackle your your opponents to gain control over the field

  • charge up and use a power shot to score a goal

  • short 5 minute rounds, ideal for in-between times
