„I am launching Hope is Fading in Early Access because it blends multiple genres such as single player shooting, melee brawling, and ability driven gameplay which can get complex fast. Feedback from players will help me find the best balance, refine each system, and ensure that all play styles feel rewarding.“

Enhanced Gameplay Systems: Alongside more armor types and ability options, I plan to introduce passive skills to diversify your approach to combat.

Improved Visuals: I plan to revisit graphics as many assets are on their first iteration and can use more work.“

SOLO PROJECT
My name is Rens, I have about 20 years experience with 3D and have been working with video games for 15. I have worked with DICE, Epic, Sony, Intel, Sledgehammer | Battlefield 3, 4, hardline, COD. With Positions ranging from 3D Artist, Environment Artist, Expert TA to Technical Art Director. I have shipped games on a range of platforms, including PS3, PS4, PS5, 360, XBOXONE, XBOXSX and integrated graphics.

Any form of support is greatly appreciated to help push things forward and grow into a small, specialized studio.



CURRENT STATE
As a technical foundation, it incorporates a lot of the functionality that will be found in the main game. However it is the first implementation, every system needs a lot of work to bring it up to final quality. You can play through in about 30 minutes.

Hope is Fading 
is set in the distant future, where you play a robotic character lost and separated from its combat unit. Facing a losing battle, you are the last hope against the relentless corrupted machines that are pulling the world apart.

Step into the aftermath of a catastrophic event, where everything now lies in rust and ruin. It’s your job to pick up the pieces of a mission left incomplete.

Fight off swarms of robotic combat units designed for war.
Survive encounters with zombie like wanderers who stagger through the wreckage.

Track down raw materials and blueprints scattered throughout the environment or looted from defeated enemies.
