“In the future, we plan to add features to support hexcrawl maps for campaign management, audio effects for greater emersion, and complete adventure map/token packs.”

“The Early Access version of the VTT is fully operational for in-person and online play of ShadowDark and many other roleplaying games. This version allows players to connect to a games hosted by the DM and independently control the movement of their player tokens (assigned by the DM). Players can view objects on the map if there is a light source within their line of sight. Please note that the Keep It Lit DLC is required to host a session.”

Kommer det här programmet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The core application will be free with paid DLC modules.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“During development, the Early Access version of Keep It Lit can be used by DMs and Players to run complete roleplaying sessions. The community will be encouraged to provide feedback regarding bugs, easy of use, and suggestions for new features. User feedback will have a significant impact on our work priorities and our roadmap.

The preferred method for communication during this phase of development is the Darkscape Studios Discord channel. We hope to respond to all feedback during Early Access and our goal is to communicate overall development status to everyone on our Discord channel at least once per week.”
