Primalpha is a 2D action-adventure RPG, focused on combat and exploration!

The once peaceful Animal Kingdom was thrown into chaos when the Primordial Pool, the source of all the world's water, became corrupted. The five Guardian Nations were responsible for creating Cleansing Crystals which protected the pool from harm. Mysteriously, the crystals disappeared when The Corruption began to spread.

You are a frog, one of the Animal Kingdom's best combatants. It is up to you to find and return the Cleansing Crystals to the Primordial Pool and save the world from a slow and hopeless demise.

Features

  • Fight! Animals have been attacking each other since The Corruption began. You'll need to use the power of your voice to fend off hoards of ferals.

  • Change color! Use Dye-Eyes to channel passive buffs and to change color, granting you improved combat abilities. Mix colors to suit your playstyle.

  • Explore! Roam the world, speak with spirits and explore over 200 handcrafted levels spread across the five Guardian Nations.

  • Collect loot! Strengthen your vitality, scavenge Mon-Eyes from fallen foes and earn the right to hold the coveted Serpent Tails.

  • Buy upgrades! Augment the power of your Dye-Eyes to become more lethal, more agile and more durable.

  • Become powerful! You will need to become strong enough to withstand the challenges ahead. You will encounter certain foes which are feared for their size and strength.

  • Save the world! Find the lost Cleansing Crystals, return them to their pedestals and restore the Cycle of Rebirth.

  • Original gameplay, visuals, plot, sound design and music - all done by a single developer.

  • Between 5 and 10 hours of gameplay on average.

  • Native gamepad support.

  • Custom key binding for keyboard and gamepad.
