Play as X a mercenary whose job is being replaced by robots and is reskilling into necromancy. 

X has watched the job postings dwindle as mercenary's are replaced by androids. After death number 74 while working as a bodyguard for a necromancer (one of the few people left to hire human bodyguards) X decided to start learning a new career.

NecroMerc is a twist on the classic FPS genre with RPG necromancy mechanics. You might be shooting enemies while also summoning skeletons.

It's set in a futuristic setting where you play on different planets as well as on space stations. The environments are a mix of sci-fi, cyberpunk, and horror. You get to choose missions and travel to different worlds.

The skill tree lets you choose between improving your shooting and several different branches of necromancy.  You could specialize in summoning, poisons, or necrohacking.

The plot of the game is about a mercenary learning necromancy. Due to that there is a lot of violence, death, and being brought back from the dead. It's a combination of FPS mechanics and RPG necromancy mechanics.
