Sojourn Saga

A woman is sentenced to death beneath the town. Nine jurors condemn her. The executioner acts. She dies. And then she doesn't. The dungeon shifts around what was left behind, and the verdict does not settle.

Sojourn Saga is a retro-inspired, turn-based roguelite JRPG where you'll lead a band of heroes through an ever-shifting prison realm. Build your party, bond with evolving Foomy companions, and master the art of survival as you search for a way to escape the Lady's domain.

Seven Heroes, Your Way Play with seven unique characters, each with their own fighting style and upgrade paths. Build a party that fits how you want to play. Every run lets you experiment with different team compositions and discover new strategies.

Raise Foomy Companions Bond with mysterious Foomy creatures found throughout the dungeon. These loyal companions evolve based on how you play, adapting their forms and abilities to complement your party. A well-raised Foomy can turn the tide of a desperate fight.

Gear With Teeth Many weapons and armor come with unique skills ingrained into them. Combine the right equipment across your party to unlock powerful synergies that define your build each run.

Ornaments: The Real Game-Changers Ornaments are the most powerful equipment in the game. These rare relics, dropped by bosses and hidden in secret chambers, fundamentally change how you play. Equip them on party members to reshape combat entirely. From the reality-bending Ouroboros Ring to the volatile Gambler's Dice, ornaments are the build-defining treasures that make every descent feel different.

Strategic Turn-Based Combat Every battle is a deadly dance. Chain weapon abilities, exploit elemental weaknesses, and deploy tactical buffs and debuffs to overcome the Lady's twisted guardians. Your survival depends on masterful management of gear skills, ornament effects, and dwindling resources.

Step-Based Dungeon Exploration Every step you take, the enemies take one too. Movement is tactical. Strike from behind for preemptive attacks, or get caught off guard and suffer a nasty surprise.

Secrets Everywhere The dungeon is packed with hidden events, buried lore, and things you were never meant to find. Cut through bushes with your sword to reveal hidden objects or ingredients. Stumble into strange encounters that change depending on who's in your party. Piece together the story of the Lady, the Nine Who Judge, and the world that was lost through scattered fragments and cryptic discoveries. The dungeon rewards the curious.

Face the Nine Nine jurors once condemned the Lady. She saved something special for them. Now they are the Nine Who Judge, twisted into monstrous wardens, named for what they did to her, cursed for it. Every 25 floors, choose one of three to challenge. Each guards a powerful ornament. The one you skip is the ornament you lose. At floor 99, you face the Lady herself.

Every Run is Different Procedurally generated floors, randomised loot, shifting enemy placements, and branching boss choices mean no two descents play out the same.
