“"uDesktopMascot" is a desktop mascot application themed around "Freedom of Creation." We chose Early Access because we want to collaboratively develop a more user-friendly and engaging application by directly incorporating feedback from our users. By working closely with the community to add features and make improvements, we aim to provide an optimal product that meets the needs of our users.”

“We plan for the Early Access period to last about six months. During this time, we will integrate feedback from our users, enhance stability, and implement new features. Depending on the development progress, we may adjust this period accordingly.”

Loading and displaying models (supports VRM, GLB/GLTF, FBX formats)
Voice and BGM playback features
Customization through application settings files
Setting background images and colors for the menu screen

Planned additions for the full version:

Improved user interface
Performance optimization
Support for additional model formats
Enhanced animation features
Other new features based on user requests

“The current version has basic features implemented. Users can display their preferred models on the desktop and play voice clips and background music. Customization of app settings and the menu screen is also possible. While we strive for stable operation, some features are still under development, and unexpected bugs may occur.”

“No, the application will always be free. You can use it at no cost during Early Access and after the official release.”
