Terradune is a hand-drawn, top-down 2D action RPG focused on real-time combat, exploration, and buildcraft. You travel through harsh regions, dive into dungeons, and gradually shape a playstyle that feels like yours using skills, upgrades, and ability-changing augments.

REAL-TIME COMBAT THAT REWARDS DECISIONS

Combat is fast and hands-on. Enemies have patterns you can learn, and your success comes from choosing when to commit, when to reposition, and when to punish openings.

• Read enemy tells and respond with the right timing

• Use positioning to avoid getting surrounded and control space

• Mix ranged pressure, close-range risk, and magic utility based on your build

• Win fights through smart choices, not grinding

BUILD YOUR CHARACTER WITH SKILLS, UPGRADES, AND AUGMENTS

As you progress, you unlock and upgrade abilities, then shape them further with augments. Augments are designed to change how an ability behaves so different builds feel meaningfully different.

Examples of what augments can do:

• Change an attack’s role, such as turning it into crowd control, single-target burst, or a safer option

• Add utility, such as slowing enemies, applying a debuff, or giving a defensive payoff for good timing

• Create synergies, so your abilities work together instead of feeling isolated

• Support different playstyles, from aggressive and fast to careful and methodical

The goal is simple: your build should affect your moment-to-moment decisions, not just your damage numbers.

EXPLORATION, DUNGEONS, AND REWARDS

Terradune rewards curiosity. Optional paths and hidden areas can lead to loot, upgrades, unique encounters, and dungeon entrances. Dungeons push the difficulty up and pay it back with stronger rewards and important build options.
