What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are so excited to share the game with our fans that we just couldn't wait to get it out there and for you to be involved in its development. Unfortunately, development can also be expensive, so we're on Early Access asking for your trust in implementing all the features that will make this game the best of its kind.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate 6 months until we have enough content and features that we can confidently launch.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“By the time the game is finished, we aim to have the following:
  • A beautiful, expansive world to explore, with many things to see and do
  • At least 3 large dungeons and a few small ones
  • A complete story arc
  • A plethora of quests (many designed from player feedback)
  • More weapons and armor

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is very playable in its current state. Most of the features and programming are done, but it's quite a bit shorter than we'd like. We need help from the community with completing the story and more side-quests, and more time to construct the world to fit all this new content into.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we do plan to slowly increase the price as we build more content, but I wouldn't expect it to get over $15. We also may supplement the cost using DLC expansion packs.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to listen to each player's concerns and act upon it. We will not be able to implement all features, quests, and NPCs requested, but we will do our best to make the game the community wants and deserves.”

Update 1.4

This update brings a quick button for using potions! It will automatically use the optimal potion based on your remaining health. To activate, when using keyboard and mouse, press 1 (as indicated on the HUD), and with a controller, press left on the Dpad.

Note that with this update, the Dpad will no longer work for movement of your character, but you can still use it to navigate the UI.

A future update will allow this button to be modified, as with all other keys.

I've updated the game to 1.3.1 in order to add an option to adjust the camera movement speed and direction. It also fixes a few bugs and makes the compass easy to see.

There are no new quests in this update, but if you have any ideas for updates you can suggest them in the discussion forums or join our Discord channel here:

Before the Saga began, the Elder Gods reigned in the heavens. One of the Elder gods, Goth-Azul -- known as the God of Death -- rebelled against the established. The Gods created a prison orb, called Gaia, and imprisoned Goth-Azul deep within its core. But before being imprisoned, Goth-Azul gave the secret of the power of the Elders to a lesser god, Xethos Nom. Together with four other lesser Gods, Xethos used the secret to destroy the Elder Gods, and they claimed the heavens for themselves.

The new gods fought bitterly over who was to rule in the heavens, each creating their own creatures to battle over Gaia. Some fought to defend the orb, as to prevent Goth-Azul's escape. The others, however, aimed for its destruction, hoping that by releasing Goth-Azul, they can rule the heavens together.

This is the world in which you live. As a human, you are the common-race, known for your neutrality in the great war, and also known for seeking one thing: Glory.
