Why Early Access?

“Valiant is currently a fully playable virtual reality game - it's stable, highly optimised and is fun and social. However, we want to add more content over the next 3 to 6 months. We're launching as an Early Access title because we really want your input and guidance, in particular on new maps, game modes, classes and updated progression mechanics (beyond the public leaderboards, stats, and player ranks we already have ingame).”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 3 to 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have additional game modes, new classes, new maps and new weapons. We will also be adding in more progression mechanics. We want this progression system to be meaningful and something that regular Valiant users help shape. We already have public leaderboards, stats, and player ranks, but haven't decided on additional progression yet. Do you want aesthetic unlocks for the avatar? Do you want ranked play? Let us know, we're here to listen.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Valiant is fully playable in its current state - it's stable, highly optimised, and is fun and social when playing with other users. There is re-playability, with three classes and two maps, as well as public leaderboards, stats, and player ranks.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are always on the lookout for feedback and suggestions. Please post your ideas and feedback in the discussion section of the Valiant Community Hub here on Steam and we'll read every single one. If you have detailed feedback and suggestions, then reach out to us and we can join a Teamspeak server together and we can listen your ideas and suggestions. We truly mean this, we will always jump on a call with anybody if it means we get to hear some constructive criticism and feedback.”
