Mike is the main character, a journalist driven by a thirst for uncovering deep, hidden truths. His character is shaped by a complex mix of curiosity and resilience. He gains access to an apartment where, according to locals, restless souls are said to haunt the place—a fact that still needs to be confirmed, tied to a terrible incident. A family consisting of a father, mother, and daughter once lived in the apartment and were killed by someone whose identity remains unknown.

In 1990, a family bought a house in Russia from Robert. After hearing strange noises from the basement and rumors of a curse, they left and moved to New York, they rented apartment from Norman Harold.
