Чому дочасний доступ?

«The fully featured beta of the 5th Dimension game is not scheduled for release for some time, however during early access we plan to give players and creators access to 2 modular, companion applications (our World Builder and Mech Builder applications) that function as tools for level design and playable content creation. We plan for these modules to interoperate with the game's beta release, however by releasing these prior to the game itself, we aim to give foundational community members the ability to participate in content creation and get involved in early gameplay as soon as possible and prior to the release of the game.

During the first stage of early access, we plan to release the 5th Dimension World Builder. This will be a companion app that will inter-operate with the game like a level designer, and is intended to empower players to design and create the 5th Dimension game world.

Some time after the World Builder's release, we plan to release the 5th Dimension Mech Builder, a second companion app that will operate like a game-item and player character design tool that will (also) interoperate with the game, intended to empower players to create game items and playable content for use in the game.

«World Builder Application

The 5th Dimension World Builder application has been designed to empower players to create arena-scale virtual worlds or game levels using a rich 3D design and content creation interface. Players will then have the option to activate the levels they design inside the World Builder app user interface, and they will then become available to other users of the app to browse and experience. The World Builder app is free to install and always will be, however players wishing to make their game level publicly available must purchase and item from the Steam Store to publish their game levels.
The core development of the World Builder app is completed, and the beta release coming soon.

Mech Builder Application

The 5th Dimension Mech Builder Application empowers players to build and design high tech robotic humanoids that they control in-game to participate in high impact competitions called 'battles'. During early access we plan to give players access to the Mech Builder app to create and design characters that they will use in the game when it is released.

Players’ Mechs can be developed based on a specialization pathway lead by one of 4 key functions. Abilities from different pathways can be blended in a myriad of ways to create highly specialized, AI powered, autonomous robotic agents.
Agility - Morph and reconfigure physical form, bend space-time and move in ways that defy physics and belief
Flight - Airborne maneuverability, motion control and speed to defy gravity and dominate the field
Muscle - Bone crushing combat capabilities to reduce the competition to rubble and bring the pain
Power - Use computer enhanced psychic energy to accelerate robotic functions to read minds, hack computer systems, enhance speed and take down the competition.

5th Dimension is a virtual world like no other. Players compete in a battle for control between the Nuri and the Savi factions as they terraform worlds, build cities and create high-tech robotic humanoids called Mechs that they control to win in an array of adrenalin-fueled competitions, from deathmatch battles to hi-octane racing.

Battle for the glory of your faction to gain wealth and power and expand your influence over 5th Dimension as you compete for control of a limitless virtual world.


BUILD AN EMPIRE

The virtual world of 5th Dimension is a rich, expansive universe filled with untold technological wonders and captivating natural beauty. From the lush, teeming forests of the island of Indu to the massive, sparkling edifices of the metropolis of Studio City, 5th Dimension’s magic and beauty is defined both by its violent contrasts and its alluring harmony.

5th Dimension offers a rich, city-building and terraforming interface empowering players to transform landmass and build beautiful, detailed landscapes and urban settlements, ranging from sparse rural outposts to sky-scraping metropolises. The creation of new terrain expands the world-map of 5th Dimension, resulting in it growing organically over time, offering a game-space that is limited only by imagination. Create venues within the cities you have built, and finally, assemble guilds. Use your Guild to play co-op, unlocking story elements and embarking on factional quests that offer rich rewards and perilous adventure.

YOUR WORLD YOUR WAY

During early access, community members will be empowered to create the buildings and architecture within the major cities that exist on the 5 islands within the game-world, using the 5th Dimension World Builder. These buildings, created by players, can then be used for regular gameplay and to host Esports events, incorporating the spaces and places that they create into the player experience of the fully featured game.

This unique approach allows players to craft, and own, a personalized piece of the 5th Dimension game-world, and to actively participate in the life and activity of the game when it is launched. Players will be rewarded when their creations are included in 5th Dimension - not only will you own part of the virtual world, but you are compensated for your work. Following Early Access, the economy features will be fully revealed, allowing for higher levels of access, encouraging the community to continue expanding the game-world of 5th Dimension.

BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY

Within the virtual world of 5th Dimension, players compete in an array of team based competitions to earn units of in-game currency called 'Dimens'. Spend Dimens to advance player characters, unlock new skills & abilities, and expand your control - unlocking ever greater power to expand and reshape the world around you.

Dimens are primarily earned through completing quests and participating in, or hosting, Esports events known as 'Battles'. Battles pit players against each other in PVP competitions that exist within 5 distinct gameplay formats:

Sky Running - Control your Mech in-flight and fight off the competition in a breakneck race to the finish line within a low gravity arena filled with explosive obstacles.

Rhythmex - Beat-powered rhythm battles where players ride waves of percussive energy in time to the music in order to win.

Skate Or Fly - Big air skate comps with mechs designed for maximum agility to perform feats of airborne daring that no human ever could.

Hyperdrive -  Adrenaline fuelled drag racing and inner city urban street racing.

Thudd Rumble - Bring your A game and go head to head with opposing faction members in a no holds barred, ‘last mech standing’ combative battle for supremacy.

Players participate in these battles by controlling high tech robotic humanoids known as 'Mechs'. Mechs are A.I. powered, virtual beings designed by players using our Mech Builder. Develop your Mech using a varied specialization pathway, focusing on 4 key functions - Agility, Flight, Muscle & Power. Blend these abilities in a myriad of ways to build the Mech you need for the specific battle you are taking on, and leave your opponent no chance for victory.
