STORY

You play as Monet or Vincent, thieves who have found themselves in a sour predicament.

You work at the Hutch & Go shop within The Keep, a new town you have found yourself living in, working off your debts while earning some coin on the side. While this is not the life you envisioned for yourself, your own actions have landed you here.

The Keep is bustling with unique citizens, including six Keepers (short of "shopkeepers"): Elgin, a quiet giantkin and local butcher. Hylda, a flirtatious pixie and owner of Little Grove Construction. Valentine, a rocker harpy and lead vocalist for The Harpy Ladies. Daiba, a friendly oni and café owner. Mango, an upbeat pyka who runs the Keep's recycling center. And Vanitas, a grouchy elf and brilliant ritualist.

Meet and mingle with these six keepers, among many, many others as you work your day job, shop around this new town, and go questing with the help of these new strangers. Make a new life for yourself in the Keep, all while slowly uncovering the tensions brewing deep within the town's surface.

GAMEPLAY

Keepers of the Keep uses a unique dice rolling feature, utilizing two six-sided dice that you will be rolling to decide the outcome of nearly every event in the game. How the dice land may be up to chance, but how you manage your stats as well as the items you carry/use will greatly turn the luck of the dice in your favor!

Work during the day to earn your gold, shop and interact with the townsfolk during the afternoon to grow your stats, and go questing in the evening to end your day. There are a limited number of days in the game's narrative, so it's up to you to spend your time wisely as the game ticks down to one of many, many endings.
