We are thrilled to welcome our English-speaking players to the world of The Occult Detective! The English demo is now live and ready for you to explore.

Demo Version Overview

This demo is a free-to-play slice of the full experience.

The Occult Detective is a "Neo-Orthodox" mystery game set in a bizarre world where gods and humanity coexist. Here, cold, hard logic meets the unsettling supernatural.

CASE I: The Devil at Martin Manor

In this demo, you will experience a complete standalone case that showcases our core mechanics. While the full game features four sprawling sagas, your journey begins with Case I.

You play as a rookie officer who thought this was just a normal day on the job—until you were thrust into the shadows of the A.I.B. (Agency of Investigating the Bizarre).

The Incident: February 27th. The Martin family has gathered for their annual reunion, but the patriarch, Martin, is nowhere to be found. You arrive at the manor only to find him dead inside a perfectly sealed room. Tessa, Callie, Jack, Ford... everyone in the house has a motive, and everyone is hiding a secret. It’s up to you to tear through their lies.

Tired of linear games where you just click until you find the "one true evidence"? We break the rigid structure by integrating large language models (LLMs) to power our NPC dialogue.

• Investigate at your own pace: Collect evidence and connect clues freely.

• Talk Directly to Suspects: Question every suspect in a truly unscripted manner using natural language (text input).

• Logic vs. Lie: Your goal is to use physical evidence to push their personalized defenses, not just click through pre-written dialogue trees. You lead the interrogation.

👁️ Even Anomalies Leave Traces

Discover the hidden world of the A.I.B. (Agency of Investigating the Bizarre). As you secure "Containment Objects"—relics of lost gods and forbidden powers—you’ll realize that even a crime committed by a god leaves a trail for those who know how to look.

Note: Some art assets in this Demo are placeholders, and additional interactive features are still under development. The final version will provide a more complete and diverse experience.
