Shadows moved like specters, their forms writhing and shifting, each one a fragment of torment personified. He tried to avert his gaze, but the horrors refused to be ignored. Chains clanged in the distance, and the wet, guttural sounds of flesh being torn filled the void.

There was no escape, no reprieve. The walls here were not just watching; they were alive, pulsating, as though feeding off the suffering within. The very air felt oppressive, crushing his thoughts, forcing him to acknowledge where he was.
