About This Game

The Year is 1989. The Issue At Hand is unbeknownst to you. Yet diplomats from all across the EC have gathered for a decisive peace summit, for a war you don't know anything about.

You're the elevator operator for the hotel they're meeting at. You control the elevator. What could you possibly do?

Features: Security team manipulation, high-stakes espionage, brinksmanship, lamb-chop eating, scandal-stirring, chess-instructing, brochure-perusing, document-reading, picture-taking, intervention-discussing, geopoliticking, destination-finding, spy-squishing, lots-of-dialogue-reading elevator controlling action.

10,000+ lines of hand-written (no AI used at any point of development) branching dialogue/conversation paths discussing such topics as a fashion show, the Cerican border, the mussels, the ramifications of a world that never saw a second World War, war journalism, war logistics, warfare, war, and why... why no one will tell you why there's going to be war.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

"Elevator Music" includes non-animated pixel-art deaths in a non-gory way, optional drug usage, alcoholic intoxication, characters being thrown out of a window, and suicide. There are long descriptions of disconcerting war-related scenes, but nothing overly graphic or intended to shock.
