Unserious Sandbox is a single-player parkour game. No management, no combat—it's about the player's movement, traversing abstract worlds.

Traversal

Currently, the game features two traversal modes: Parkour and Traverse.

Parkour requires a more precise movement/camera control in a strafing stance—the player needs to look towards where they go. Traverse has a more dynamic stance with no strafing, enabling wall run, slightly more challenging with a faster pace.

The modes are different, but the goal is the same: just traverse in your own ways and at your own pace.

Momentum

Using Unreal Engine’s motion-matching technology, parkour animations are picked dynamically based on the character's movement trajectory upon traversal attempt. The core of traversal is about pace and timing - build up momentum and stay in flow.

Ragdoll Physics

On-demand ragdoll physics simulation in sandbox maps. Embrace the chaos and master the art of falling flat.

Beyond Sandbox

Unserious Sandbox is more than just a game—it's a personal space. In a world full of noise, it stays awfully quiet, almost out of place, all for a bit of peace of mind.
