Rise up to your duty raven, foul magic has overtaken the beautiful city of Venice. We cannot let this stand. Venice must be purged.

You will be tasked with going through the streets of the accursed city and erasing all that reeks of undeath. Serve well.

The streets are full of them, for the carnival was taking place. Pay no heed to the enemy's numbers, for you will prevail.

An odious miasma hangs in the air and has transformed all the celebrators into mindless husks of what they once were, free them from this hell so that the city can live on and grow old.

Your task will take you all the way to the church, where you must call the horde upon yourself and deliver our god's fury to them.

The subjects of your divine violence will be tenacious and maddened with starvation, you must never let your guard down.

Through the possession, their bodies have deformed beyond recognition. Beware of the large ones and the partially disolved especially.

This foul magic has made them resilient and formidable. It will be a battle hard-fought.

But be not afraid for you are well equipped. You have at your disposal our finest weapons.

The rifles we give you have been infused with prayer and the good will of our Lord, their bullets sear wicked flesh and purge evil souls.

Our explosives carry in them the ashes of great saints, they tear skin and bone alike.

But most of all, we give you a blessed artifact, one passed down through our organization. It heals the wounds of the righteous and brutalizes any heretic in its way.

This game is a 3 player coop PvE shooter where you play as members of a secret organization, Umbra Mortis. You will go through the city of Venice which is overrun by undead carnival-goers.

This is a game about shooting guns with bullets at zombie-like enemies, that's the violence that you're gonna be seeing, gunshots and blood VFX, with the occasional explosion from a grenade on top of that.
