The Time Within Us is an interactive journey into the past.

Step inside authentic homes from history and discover how people lived, worked, and celebrated. Each environment is reconstructed using historical research, preserved buildings, and cultural archives to create a living archive of architecture, traditions, and daily life.

"The time within us" is a series of immersive historical modules, starting with a 19th-century Bulgarian Revival House. We invite you to step beyond the pages of a history book and into a living, breathing world.

Each house you explore is more than walls and roofs — it’s a living reflection of how people adapted to their environment, values, and way of life. You’ll learn how different cultures shaped their homes: from the choice of stone, wood, and clay, to the ornamentation that carried symbolic meaning.

Step by step, you’ll see how houses were built, why certain rooms were designed for family, guests, or work, and how heating, storage, and protection were ingeniously solved with the materials of the time.

Each architectural detail — from carved beams to painted facades — tells a story about tradition, social roles, and identity. By entering these spaces, you gain insight not only into construction techniques, but into the very worldview of the people who lived there.

Clothing is one of the most vivid ways to step into the past. Every culture expressed identity, status, and tradition through fabric, color, and ornament. In this project, you’ll see garments recreated with historical accuracy and brought to life in 3D detail.

From everyday wear to festive attire, you’ll learn how people dressed for work, family gatherings, or celebrations. Embroidery and patterns carried hidden meanings, often tied to protection, fertility, or regional identity.

Jewelry, belts, and headpieces added layers of symbolism and artistry, reflecting both beauty and social role.

Guided hosts, dressed in authentic clothing, will explain the materials, techniques, and traditions behind each garment. You’ll discover how fabric was woven, dyed, and stitched, and how clothing evolved across time — offering not just protection, but a living canvas of cultural heritage.

Beyond houses and clothing, the virtual museum showcases the objects that filled daily life. Tools, furniture, kitchenware, and handmade ornaments are presented in interactive detail. Each artifact comes with explanations of its purpose and meaning, helping you connect the practical with the symbolic. Together, they paint a fuller picture of how people lived, worked, and celebrated.
