A modern tribute to the classic medieval fantasy RPGs of old with enhanced looter-shooter mechanics, Shadows of Morhaven places you in the shoes of a deputy to the King, tasked with a simple mission to root out some goblins pestering a village of the kingdom. Little do you know that this mission will put you down a winding, twisting path full of intrigue, betrayal, and eventually, redemption.

Along your journey you'll struggle against powerful foes. Through that struggle you will improve your skills, collect powerful loot, acquiring the tools necessary to progress, and eventually, save the kingdom.

Create an unlikely hero the way that YOU want to do it

Expect a robust character creation with a high level of customization, including hair, facial hair, skin, tattoos, and more. Characters can be created from one of 4 unique classes with a variety of melee and magic combat styles, each with their own base stats, scaling rates, and available starting spells.

Twin-stick shooter fans rejoice! The Focused Movement system has you covered!

Use your secondary mouse click to steady your aim and flick your cursor for higher precision in combat. While Focused Movement is active, your character will turn to face the location of your cursor at the cost of movement speed. This will allow you to cast spells or swing your blade while on the backfoot and may get you out of some seriously sticky situations!

The seemingly simple set of stats the player has access to will have many far-reaching impacts throughout Shadows of Morhaven, far beyond simple combat numbers. With 4 equipment slots, including a main-hand, off-hand, armor, and accessory slots, there are countless possible combinations of gear, expanded even further by the rarity stat roll system.

The world of Morhaven is alive with many characters that you will speak with, including those who provide quests, point you in the right direction, and even barter their cash for your hard earned loot! Whether it's purchasing powerful stock gear, or trading in valuable loot acquired that doesn't quite fit your build, the people of Morhaven will be essential along your journey.

Danger lurks within the dark depths of Morhaven, but if you can conquer it, you can secure yourself some seriously epic loot. The rarity system, providing randomly generated stats relative to the rarity level of the item, will ensure that loot is always exciting and impactful, whether it is to be added to your equipment pool, or to be traded in town for some much-needed spell books to up your casting skills. Different hostile creatures will have different loot tables, so a variety of enemies must be felled to collect everything you may want or need to build your equipment to suit your goals.

Replayability is a priority, with plenty of variety between the classes, the loot, and perhaps even outcomes to story events depending on character class! Expect a fun, engaging story, and many good memories in the land of Morhaven.
