Miksi Early Access?

This game needs to get out into public view before the game is considered feature complete. Much needed feedback will also guide which aspects of the game need changing before the game comes out of alpha/beta.

Goals 2-3 months from release:
-Add 2 more "episodes" of story content
-Add more areas, characters, and animations to go along with these episodes
-Add stealth gameplay (sneaking mechanics, detection by NPCs)
-Add RPG stats to player
-Add dialogue system with choice mechanics that can change player's stats

Goals 4-6 months from release:
-Add companions (follow/help player through an area. Add their own two-cents during dialogue options)
-Add even more areas and "episodes" of story content
-Add personal combat gameplay (punching, shooting, psionic powers)
-Add space combat gameplay (ship movement and shooting in a 2D area)
-Add space travel to other locations
-More characters and accompanying animations

Goals 9-12 months from release:
-Establish a routine of releasing new episodes of story so that game can come out of Early Release

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

It's expected to take approximately 12 months to work out the kinks and uncertainties of releasing periodic episodic content that contains varied and unpredictable gameplay elements. By that time, gameplay elements are expected to have solidified into making development a streamlined and predictable process.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current state of the game contains 3 levels and 3 cutscenes that showcase the game's overall concept and story.

Current version of the game contains:
-Two 2D platformer levels where the player moves around and briefly interacts with the environment as the story unfolds
-One 2D motorcycle racing level where the player is racing through traffic to keep up with a UFO
-3 cutscenes that show story progression in differing ways (3 different rendering/engine methods to try out)
-Sound, music, and voices are invoked in different ways for each level to find the right technical balance moving forward

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The beginning section of the game that is under development will remain free to play indefinitely. The plan is to have ongoing paid DLC episode releases once the game moves out of early access.

Posting updates, planned updates, and gauging player reactions. If the community gets large enough, a discord channel will also be used.
