Wozu Early Access?

„I'm currently a solo developer and GM working on this project. I chose to launch in Early Access because I want to build this tool alongside the tabletop RPG community.

The core app is already functional (map creation, online play, dice rolls, etc.), but every group has different needs. Early Access allows me to gather real feedback, improve the experience, and prioritize features that matter to actual users.

My goal is to build a stable, flexible platform for running online campaigns — and Early Access is the best way to do it with real player input.“

„I plan to keep the app in Early Access for several months, depending on user feedback and development pace. The goal is to launch version 1.0 once the core features are complete and stable, and the overall experience feels solid for both GMs and players.“

„The full version will include more customization tools, UI improvements, new features for game masters, integration with popular RPG systems, and additional visual options. Performance and overall stability will also be improved based on real-world usage and feedback.“

„The app currently allows you to create campaigns, register players to campaigns so they can join with their steam account or by IP with a username/PIN, create maps for the campaign, manage tokens, use fog of war, roll dice, and communicate via in-app chat. The core functionality is in place, and you can already run full sessions.“

Wird diese Software während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„No. This application will always be free and open source, both during Early Access and after the official release. The goal of the project is to provide an accessible tool for the entire roleplaying community.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„I'll be using forums, social media, and the Steam community to gather suggestions, identify bugs, and prioritize improvements. I want the community to play an active role in development, helping shape what features get added or refined in each update.“
